Death piling

Death piling is a mechanic used by UIMs where after death, the looting bag breaks, and all items go to the floor for 1 hour.

Lumbridge basement is the typical location to death pile if the respawn point is Lumbridge. Go into the Lumbridge basement cave without a light source, wait for the bugs to kill you, set a 1-hour timer for your items to despawn. Hurry and do what you need to do and return to get your items before the timer runs out.

To get a looting bag, pickpocket some men in Lumbridge, buy an axe from Bob, chop a canoe to row to Edgeville and buy one from the wilderness slayer master. Take a canoe back to Lumbridge.
