As an ultimate, the rune axe may be your best axe for a while.

A rune axe can be stored in the hard STASH unit on top of the white wolf mountain, next to the gnome glider (Sindarpas).

Bring 2 teak planks, 10 nails, a hammer and saw there to build it (55 construction requirement). The other two items stored are a ring of life (I recommend getting a diamond from a gem bag) and mithril plate legs (Civitas armor shop)

A good thing about this STASH is the ring of life--it may be that you get these items while your items are death banked, and so while you have these items, you may wear the ring of life just in case.
